  Arrival in Kasane & Chobe

  On arrival in Kasane, you are met and transferred to your lodge in the Chobe region. Depending on your arrival time, there may already be time for a first activity or a relaxed sunset beside the river.

  Chobe by Land and Water

  Discover Chobe National Park from two perspectives. A game drive brings opportunities to see elephants, buffalo and predators, while a boat safari offers close encounters along the riverbanks.

  Fly to Moremi Game Reserve

  Fly by light aircraft from Kasane into the Moremi region. The aerial view reveals the transition from dry savannah to channels and islands before your next safari experience begins in the afternoon.

  Moremi in Depth

  Spend a full day exploring Moremi’s varied habitats. Open plains, mopane woodland and seasonal floodplains create excellent opportunities to see elephants, lions, wild dogs and, with luck, leopards.

  Continue into the Okavango Delta

  A short bush flight takes you deeper into the Okavango Delta. Your camp team welcomes you at the airstrip, and a first activity introduces the gentler rhythm of this water-shaped wilderness.

  Channels and Islands

  Depending on water levels, explore by mokoro, boat, on foot or in a safari vehicle. Papyrus channels, lagoons and palm islands reveal one of Botswana’s quietest and most distinctive landscapes.

  From the Delta to the Kalahari

  The scenery changes dramatically today. Fly, depending on the schedule via Maun, to the Central Kalahari region. After the waterways of the delta, wide horizons, golden grass and semi-desert silence take centre stage.

  Central Kalahari Game Reserve

  Explore open plains and ancient fossil river valleys on a game drive. Oryx, springbok and predators are beautifully adapted to the dry environment, and every sighting feels heightened by the vast landscape.

  Time to Absorb the Kalahari

  A second full day lets you discover the subtler character of this wilderness. Depending on the camp program, enjoy game drives, nature experiences or an introduction to San culture and knowledge.

  Via Maun to Makgadikgadi

  The flight connection between the Kalahari and Makgadikgadi generally routes via Maun. A connection is normally sufficient, without an overnight stay, before you continue to your camp beside the salt pans.

  The Scale of Makgadikgadi

  The immense salt pans create a striking contrast to the safari regions already visited. Depending on the season and camp location, the day may include wildlife viewing, a drive onto the pans or time to absorb their extraordinary stillness.

  Final Day on the Salt Pans

  Spend another day discovering Makgadikgadi. Possible experiences include meeting habituated meerkats, visiting ancient baobabs or joining another safari, always shaped by the season, weather and lodge program.

  Return to Maun

  After a final activity and breakfast, travel by light aircraft or road transfer to Maun. Your 13-day Botswana journey ends here as you continue with your onward or homeward flight.
